Demitri's Design Process

Part 2 - Parti, Rhino Massing, and Plan Development

  1. -discussed that the residential plan is quite elegant and provided that the units work out, could make for a good project
-still need to develop the communal working spaces especially in the atrium zone(s); you should assemble a couple of schematic sections to make this proposal effective as it speaks a great deal about your sense of communal zones; this will also help assess whether you actually have the clearance and solar penetration to get light into the building
-learn to use the MULTIPLY command in Photoshop to ensure that the text/lines show up
-the Yonge street address is potentially interesting but also risks bifurcating the building to read as autonomous masses; not sure if that's really what you want to do (as a counterpoint/contrast/complement? to the existing streetscape?)
