Your plan does not show up properly so the only thing that can elicit feedback is the concept model. Remove the furniture and you will find that you a basic sketch model of an office building. Unfortunately that is how this project currently reads (especially with the generic office furniture that does not serve your purposes). That you have not indicated glazing and mullions is an error that really does not flesh out the architectural possibilities of this design. The structural articulation of the beams and slab conditions make the design venture into interesting territory... if this were built in the Middle East or had a mandate to use concrete. Were you serious about entering the SSEF? This could work as a rough sketch provided that you take the initiative and leverage AESS (see Gary's post) to make your design better and more conducive to the Steel competition.
I updated the plans to one with a white background. I will go to the library today to see how buildings are made with HSS. I currently don`t know how wall partitions, especially fire rated walls between units frame onto such structural members. That`s why I stuff with SRC for this post. I will entertain the possibility of framing the entire building with steel.
